Frotz is compatible with titles written in the Z-Machine format, which was created by Infocom and used to develop timeless classics from the 80s such as the Zork Trilogy, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Trinity. Additionally, it supports glulx and TADS formats.
Over the past few decades, text adventures have experienced a remarkable resurgence, owing to the efforts of a diverse online community consisting of brilliant interactive fiction writers and enthusiastic fans.
