Take advantage of the pristine high-resolution fonts to revisit the golden era of the Great Underground Empire or indulge in any of the numerous masterpieces from the Interactive Fiction archive.

Frotz allows you to immerse yourself in hundreds of free Interactive Fiction works (commonly known as text adventure games) on your iPhone or iPad.

Frotz is compatible with titles written in the Z-Machine format, which was created by Infocom and used to develop timeless classics from the 80s such as the Zork Trilogy, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Trinity. Additionally, it supports glulx and TADS formats.

Over the past few decades, text adventures have experienced a remarkable resurgence, owing to the efforts of a diverse online community consisting of brilliant interactive fiction writers and enthusiastic fans. Many of these games are crafted using the same engine that powered Infocom's legendary titles, thanks to Graham Nelson's Inform compiler and authoring system.
